English Language Arts A30 is a skills and theme-based course that is organized around the Canadian experience. The ELA A30 course will provide meaningful Canadian contexts for students to extend their language skills and strategies through opportunities to view, listen, read, speak, write, and use other forms of representing. The two main themes in this course are Canadian Perspectives: Deep and Rich and Canadian Landscapes: Diverse and Dynamic. The aim of the Saskatchewan ELA curriculum is to help students understand and appreciate language and to use it confidently and competently in a variety of situations for learning, communication, work, life, and personal endeavours.
